PLAY on Lake Bomoseen ~
NEW 2023: Book TIKI Boat & Pontoon Boat Rides HERE
With nearly four-square miles of surface area, nestled between rolling hills, Lake Bomoseen has long been a popular playground for vacationers. In the summer, Bomoseen offers pristine waters, wide open spaces & tiny inlets and coves. During the winter months Bomoseen is a great place for ice fishing & snowshoeing all while being close to Killington Ski Resort.
At our lodge, you’ll find all sorts of things to do! Swim in the lake or our pool, laze on the beach or the lawn on a lounge chair, go out on a kayak, canoe or paddle board, take a pontoon cruise or tiki boat tour, or bounce around on our water trampoline. The lake is perfect for every kind of water sport. It’s also chock-full of fish & has just enough lakeside dining options to tempt your palate for days — including our Taproom! In the winter months bring your snowshoes and sleds for nearby winter fun. Our firepits are available year-round for evening ambiance.
Through our partners at Woodard Marine you can rent motor boats, even for just the day! (Don’t forget to reserve your dock space with us.) Interested in a fishing trip? Woodard Marine also offers charted fishing trips & ice fishing trips on Lake Bomoseen. If you are looking to explore another area, 3rd Alarm Charters offers trip on Lake Champlain.
If you prefer to keep your feet on shore, grab a friend or two for badminton, bocce, croquet, lawn darts and more… or, just find a comfy chair to sit under a tree and play backgammon or read a good book while taking in the view. Our Taproom offers shuffleboard, darts & foosball.
In addition to the amenities here at the lodge, just across the street is Prospect Point, a 9-hole public golf course. Also, just a quick ride up-lake (by boat rental or car) is The Lakehouse Pub & Grille and a collection of quaint Vermont villages with shops, galleries, museums, farmer’s markets, and more. Check out Pond Hill Ranch for horseback riding. Should it rain? Don’t worry, we’ve got a movie theater in Middlebury, bowling and the Manchester Outlets close by, too! Quaint Middlebury, VT is just a short drive north on Route 30. Our close proximity to Killington & Okemo make downhill skiing and snowboarding a must.
