There is no shortage of things to do on Bomoseen!
NEW 2023: Book TIKI Boat & Pontoon Boat Rides HERE
With nearly four square miles of surface area, nestled between rolling hills, Lake Bomoseen has long been a popular playground for vacationers. In the summer, Bomoseen offers pristine waters, wide open spaces and tiny inlets and coves. Visit our lodge while renting a boat on Lake Bomoseen — the lake is perfect for every kind of watersport. It’s also chock-full of fish, and has just enough lakeside dining options to tempt your palate for days — including our brand new Taproom!
At our lodge, you’ll find all sorts of things to do. Swim in the lake or our pool, laze on the beach or the lawn on a lounge chair, go out on a kayak, canoe or paddle board, take a pontoon cruise and bounce around (or just laze) on our water trampoline. Through our partners at Woodard Marine try your hand at tubing, wakeboarding, water skiing or wake surfing. Through Woodard Marine you can also rent motor boats. Book your activity through them, but don’t forget to reserve a slot with us on our docks for your boat during your stay! Book a fishing trip with 3rd Alarm Charters. Our firepits are available year round for evening ambiance. In the winter months bring your snowshoes and sleds for nearby winter fun.
If you prefer to keep your feet on shore, grab a friend or two for badminton, bocce, croquet, lawn darts and more… or, just find a comfy chair to sit under a tree and play backgammon or read a good book while taking in the view. Our Taproom offers shuffleboard, darts & foosball.
In addition to the amenities here at the lodge, just across the street is Prospect Point, a 9-hole public golf course (with clubhouse). Also, just a quick ride up-lake (by boat rental or car) is The LakeHouse Pub & Grille and a collection of quaint Vermont villages with shops, galleries, museums, farmer’s markets, and more. Check out Pond Hill Ranch for horseback riding. Should it rain? Don’t worry, we’ve got movie theaters and bowling and the Manchester Outlets close by, too! Quaint Middlebury, VT is just a short drive north on Route 30. Our close proximity to Killington & Okemo make downhill skiing and snowboarding a must.
